The QuickFlap System
The QuickFlap System attaches to any rig. The QuickFlap System allow the driver to replace a trailer flap easily and quickly (under 30 seconds!!!).
Insurance companies, you know that most broken/cracked windshields on standard passenger cars accrue on the highway and the comment is usually "a rock flew off the tire of the tractor-trailer and hit my windshield"
Drivers of this equipment, check there equipment all the time, and can see that a flap is failing, but to change the bad flap requires tools, oil, and 40 min. (if all goes well, if not, get out the cutters!--or better yet, let Maintenance do it latter).
If the driver replaces the flap NOW, well, no broken glass, may even prevent an accident and save a life!!!! and on a more selfish note, you won't get pulled over for a bad/missing flap.
